Still no refund!

Hi

I bought a bed online at the beginning of July. When it arrived it looked nothing like the photo and was of extremely poor quality. I'd already waiting quite a while to get it delivered.

I contacted the company and got them to agree to a refund and finally got the bed picked up (2 weeks later). That was back in August.

I have been chasing them ever since for a refund and they keep saying it will be within 7 days but then nothing. This is all via email as they won't answer the phone (I obviously now have a very bad feeling about company)!

Can anyone advise on my rights and if I can report them to anyone. I need the money to buy another bed so am currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Not ideal when I have a 6 month old baby that I have to keep getting up for in the night!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ps wasn't sure if I'm allowed to name the company but if I am let me know so I can warn you all!

    How did you pay?

    Is it a uk company?

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Assuming you paid by card contact your card issuer about a chargeback. You have 120 days from the date of delivery (i.e. the date you spotted the problem / breach of contract) to initiate this, though your bank may try to say it's from the date of purchase.
