I have the new quiet comfort 3 ones. they are just fab on the plane, you can't hear a thing!
I have borrowed a few other makes to try from friends but these are just the business.
I bought them at heathrow as they are tax free there I think it made them just over the £200 mark.

Just checked at my local Bose outlet and its exactly the same price as the website, and they haven't got any stock either! I have the original headphones, and I wouldn't travel anywhere without them!
I read somewhere recently that they are £100 cheaper in the States if anyone is going on holiday.
