Opening 2 Tesco 3% accounts?

Options
Hi

I understand that I can have two Tesco 3% accounts.

What is the process of opening two accounts please? Is it done in one application or if two applications are these identical?

TIA

Vigman

The way it worked for me was: I opened one account and was ‘invited’ to open a second with a ‘Did you know’ email. This was before the necessity to have two DD’s for each account arose. Others may have (will) have done it differently, no doubt.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

    Two separate applications.

Some have done it by getting an account up and running and then applying for another, others have sent two applications one after the other.

Bear in mind you'll be credit searched for each account, so if you're trying to limit searches for whatever reason, you may wish to space out the applications.

I have a 999 credit score so assume two applications made quickly won't be a problem?

What matters is the history - the 'score' is done by the Credit Reference agency you're using or whoever you're applying to. Different agencies/lenders will likely score differently. Nevertheless, 999 would seem to indicate a good history.

The advice is usually to avoid more than 2-3 searches in a 6 month period. Have you made any recent applications?

If you aren't likely to want any more important products in the near future - a mortgage/remortgage or a 0% balance transfer deal, then I'd say go for it.

I had 10 searches in a 3 month period. I never got refused.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
