No right turn sign and camera

Hi all, hope you are all well and had a good week.

At the top of my road there's a no right turn sign post and road markings which I have ignored for years.

Recently they have installed a crow's nest camera which has caught me twice in a week! !!!!s!!!

The only sign pointing out there is a camera is a small one on the left hand side of the road which is easily missed. Do you think I can get out of it?

Also, for private parking fines (I know this isn't) can you counterclaim (or at least threaten to) for a breach of the Data Protection act for obtaining your details? Can this be suggested in this instance as well for the council fines?
