I had about £9.?? in my A&L bank account, so thought all was fine until they sent me a letter saying i was £70 overdrawn I thought this was strange but quickly transferred £100 into it from another account thinking I'd check it later when i got the time, anyway I got another letter from them saying the same thing so i logged into my account the £100 hadnt gone in yet it was taken out of my other account and I DID have £9.07 in my account initially but 'under funding fees' from Feb to Sept have left me £125.84 in debt to them!!

!!!!!!? Im so annoyed how can they do this? I had money in my account, it was never over drawn or anything!

The answer lies in your account T&C's.

Failure to fund the account with the requisite £500 per month will result in a £5 per month underfunding fee. It's the application of these fees (en block) that has taken you into an overdrawn state, probably resulting in additional 'fees' being applied.

If you dont take the time to read the terms of your account, expect to be charged for breaching them.

Give them a ring, them might refund, never know till you try, dont shout, just explain.
