condensation

I bought a house last year .EX council built in 1970s .All the windows are dripping in condensation in the mornings ,I had vents fitted to the windows this week .When I bought the house there was a black stain on the ceiling ,but the house had been empty for a year.
Recently had the gutters cleaned but the front bedroom upper walls have black mold the back of the chest of drawers has mold ,the clothes in the wardrobe have mold .The wooden floor has started to lift but it was there when I bought and may not have an expansion gap.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this .

Find the source of the excessive humidity inside your house is the starting point. Do you have extractor fans in your bathrooms? Do you dry clothes indoors? Do you use an extractor and keep doors closed when cooking?0

Look at positive input ventilation systems.0

Are the windows double-glazed? If not, you will have a harder time preventing condensation, but by reducing the moisture content of the air, it can be done. As TheCyclingProgrammer asked, where is the moisture coming from? The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

Look at positive input ventilation systems.
I am looking into getting one of these systems.
I understand they go in the loft over the landing .
Some recycle the air from the loft ,some recycle it from outside ,so whats the difference . What is the advantage of the heated option .
Should I buy the heated option even if we dont intent to use the heat much .Is it a case of buy the heat option ,better to be safe than sorry .
The oil central heating is of at night time .Not an option to run it all the time"Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -

I would contact Envirovent as they have a team of installers and will come out and give you advice. They came round to our flat but it wasn't suitable as it would have been difficult to fit the system due to the layout.
There are also quite a few threads on this forum if you do a search which are very informative.0
