Hi
Im catching the eurostar to Paris in December with my 2 little uns (I love Tesco vouchers!). Leaves St Pancras early so I need to travel by car to get there; and park close by because my two are too young to walk far.
Can anyone recommend somewhere nearby to park for 4 days that isnt too pricey??
thanks

Have you considered parkign on the outskirts of London near a station (for free). Then get the tube straight there. Hardly any walking involved!!If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

I don't think you can have 'parking in London' and 'not too pricey' in the same sentence

When we go into London, we often park on the outskirts e.g. Colindale (on street parking) and get the tube into Euston
Where are you coming from ?0 -

Is it possible for you to travel to St Pancras by train to catch this early morning Eurostar? If it is you are best off using the train, especially if it is one those train operators using either St Pancras or Kings Cross.
There is a rail ticket that you buy to connect with your Eurostar called a London International CIV and this will allow you to travel unrestricted along with gate passes for the Tube if your journey means you have travel across London. It is sometimes a little cheaper that a regular return journey ticket and gives you added guarantee of being allowed to travel on next available service if either your train operator or Eurostar runs late and you miss the connecting service. If you have not already bought your ticket, check with your local rail company. Some I am told like Virgin & GNER are doing deals where a return ticket to London St Pancras for Eurostar is dirt cheap compared with a regular standard return.
For travellers served by Southeastern Rail, from mid November they should be able to travel on any part of the Southeastern free of charge if they have booked a Eurostar reservation or ticket from Ashford International or Ebbsflop.0 -
I've not got the time to search, but if you want to park on the outskirts of London and travel in by train then chose a small station and not one of the major ones. Not only is the parking generally cheaper, but the ticket into London will be cheaper. This country is called Great Britain. It would be called Amazing Britain if it wasn't for people like you pulling the average down0

Given that any parking in central London is going to cost quite a bit, why don't you look at getting a £15 or £26 Travelodge room at the Kings Cross Travelodge (?10% off breakfast when pre-booked and kids eat free) and travelling to London the day before? It might be cheaper than paying for parking and will be an added dimension to your holiday!0
