Help with price of Smart car.

At the end of the production run of the Mk2 Smart For2 there was a special edition Cityflame model, it had extras like Brabus lights, black wheels and sports steering wheel but it was still a basic car.
One with low milage has come up at local Smart dealers and my DW has fallen in love with it. But they want nearly £7k, seems excessive for a 2013 Smart For2.
So what do you think a fair price for it should be? I am thinking £5.5k is tops but cannot find any details of a Cityflame being sold!

Smart of York have a 2014 model for £6400. Suggests 7k for an older model is OTT. Use it to negotiate.

No idea what this model is like, but the latest model is streets ahead of our original smart and the 90bhp engine is what the smart has always needed.

Sorry, I cannot find it, they have a same colour Passion but no Cityflame as far as I can see.

I had one of these - a great looking car! However, although they cost over £11000 new, I have to say that £7000 does seem rather a lot for a four year old car. You could buy one of the new models now for under £8000 (about 2 years old). Not as lovely looking as the Cityflame though! Has it got the black and yellow seats too? MHD?

Well I found one for sale privately 2013 for £5300 which after thinking about we decided that as it would be our second car we could do better things with the money.
Just, couple of hours ago, bought a 2010 Passion, 35k miles, for under £3k so had our MSE hat on.
Just sorting out the tax and insurance etc.
Agree the Cityflame looks a lot more fun though. Yes, it is a proper Cityflame with the Brabus bits and those black with yellow stripes seats.
