  • When we had the plans it's just said public open space. We were told the village shop was going on the other side of the road. Again, thanks to everyone has actually answered the question I asked and gievn me some examples. I appreciate that and not just peoples opinions on how dramatic I am being. If be absolutely fine if they were just building more houses, but the current proposal is what's really worrying me. Thanks to the people who suggested I move, but it's not really that easy is it? I wish it was but you have no idea of my family circumstances.

Again thanks to all those who have tried to give some advice.

What's actually built is unlikely to be as large as what's currently planned, but built it will be, and by Tesco, not the local butcher, baker or candlestick maker.

If you're hoping for some quaint Emmerdale-esque "ye olde village shoppe", you're going to be sorely disappointed, so suggest you get used to that idea, rather than scouring the internet for some magic bullet objection which will stop this dead in its tracks.

Sorry that this is not the advice you want to read.
