Housing benefit

Hello
I'm looking for some advice for someone.
They are currently getting housing benefit, and get paid fortnightly.
They wish to cancel there claim now as the tenancy ends next week.
If they cancel a week before the next payment, will they still be paid a partial weeks money?
As the landlord still wants the rent obvious up until then.
Thanks

Why don't they just cancel the claim the day the tenancy ends?0

Thanks for the reply.
The day the tenancy ends is still before the next due date.
The landlord is happy to let two days slide and charge just for a 7 day window.
Either way, if they cancel on the day of it ending which is before the next payment or before then, will they still be paid the in-between amount owed?0 -
It will be paid up until the day they cancel it.0
