Perhaps a loft aerial will suffice if the location is suitable? (Even though roofing materials will attenuate the wanted signals significantly). Certainly I have no issue with one here. 17km from Sandy Heath.
http://www.aerialsandtv.com/planningyourinstall.html is a wealth of info freely given. DO READ: Aerial choice http://www.aerialsandtv.com/atvschoiceofaerials.html and Poles and brackets: http://www.aerialsandtv.com/polesandbrackets.html
http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/coveragechecker/ in detailed view will give info on transmitter pointing direction and distance.
http://www.wolfbane.net/cgi-bin/tvd.exe? gives an estimate of the signal levels, which can aid those with some technical background, if you need help. The 'recommended aerials' bit is unduly pessimistic though so ignore it!0 -
Remember what happened to Rod Hull..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Another ariel but for the Millenials to "Explore new worlds"

I'd look outside on the other roofs and if you see that all the houses have large antennas then that may be the way to go and the way to point it.
Although we do not have much lightning here where I live, I would definitely think about grounding it to a stake in the garden or next to the house.
Never new Rod Hull died that way0
