    Too lazy ! thats a bit rich !.. As a long term meter reader we have had it drilled into us countless times not to shift ANYTHING let alone a hulking great tumble dryer or even worse, a three ton washing machine.
    I once tore someones kitchen Lino flooring a touch in moving a dryer to get at a meter the occupier had willingly made impossible to get at and ended up getting reprimanded for costing the company £200 compo.
    Once I even forked out my own money (£40 ) for a family sized cafe tierre when it fell apart when I was trying to get to their gas meter stuffed away in a kitchen cupboard inundated with kitchenalia..
    Philip1701, next time you have either a meter fitter or meter reader trying to access the meters..shift the stuff yourself in advance please .We are not allowed to move stuff for both H and S and possible heavy claims for damaging items.
