New bathroom - anyone used soak.com?

Hi,
We're about to purchase a bathroom suite (toilet, sink, taps, bath etc) from soak.com. I've seen a few bad reviews online about them - but other online stores (victoria plub, victoria plumbing, etc) all have pretty negative reviews too.
Has anyone here actually had items from soak.com for their bathroom... and if so would you recommend? Thanks

not used Soak, but of the budget online stores I use Better Bathrooms all the time, their CS/delivery etc is good and the quality of their gear is pretty decent too0

Thanks for the reply. I think better bathrooms are the same company as Soak0

I recently used Aqva bathrooms (aqva.co.uk) to purchase 2 toilets and Better Bathrooms for a basin.
Had no problems with either. Good packaging and delivery times. P&P a bit dear with Aqva & Better Bathrooms, but they had exactly what I wanted.
Good luck.0 -
Please save yourself the nightmare that is Soak.com :rotfl:
I recently bought a sink and vanity unit with soak, purely because I had a 20% off voucher (the rest of my bathroom stuff I thankfully have ordered from victoria plum!) and then paid £34.50 for allocated day delivery as the courier they use dont deliver on weekends. They didnt deliver on my allocated day which was frustrating enough, it turned up the next day and the couriers excuse was that they couldnt find the address and didnt have a telephone number...even though my contact number is actually on the delivery label on the box :wall:, but then to open the two boxes and see that both the unit and sink were damaged beyond use was the icing on the cake! I contacted Soak and they said that I would need to arrange, and pay, for a courier to send it back! Long story short after many hours and days of being on the phone and on hold I got a customer service rep that was actually helpful for once and said that I should dispose of the goods as they were too damaged for them to take back, which was fine because now after a week of them taking up my hall space I could finally dispose of it correctly. I'm currently waiting for them to send me info of the replacement goods to be delivered and hopefully these wont be damaged, however I'm pretty much expecting them to arrange damaged.
I find it strange how their trust pilot reviews are somewhat positive, however the google reviews are tell a different story.
Stay clear
Like I said I've ordered the rest of my bathroom stuff from victoria plum, who have been brilliant, they delivered on saturday and sunday which saved so much hassle, they sent me a text from the courier the day before stating that the delivery driver would call me before 9am to arrange a time that I would be able to take the goods, they arrived within the time we arranged and they bought all the heavy things into the house with no issues at all, and this was when it was really badly snowing too! Would definitely use VP in future!0 -
Good luck with any Victoria Plum ‘brassware’ over the next couple of years!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Well, actually, I came across this post when i was searching for help on how to deal with the issues I've had with soak. If you'd like evidence of my orders with soak or VP then by all means I can gladly supply these to you if it means you can get your facts correct.
I was giving VP credit where credit is due. Im still having issues with soak weeks after ordering and currently tonight im needing to chase them AGAIN about my order but im going to request a refund because I am sick and tired of chasing them, them promising things that never happen. They are a complete nightmare.
I wanted to warn the original poster before they made a big mistake, you only need to check google reviews to see exactly what kind of company soak is. I cant believe theyre still trading. They have given me a mini-nightmare

The worst customer service ever. I ordered a bathroom cabinet from them , after receiving the text that on a certain time I will receive my order , nobody turned up and after I was on phone with different people they apologised and arranged for a week later. I took a day off and stayed at home to receive the item , and again nobody showed up and I called them and they said the item is out of stock and will be available for next month!!!! NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. They have the worst customer service. Now I am without the bathroom cabinet while my guests are coming to stay with us, and I took two day off because of this item and waiting for two weeks. If I knew from the beginning I would have bought something else sooner0

I don't think they are good enough. I have bought few products from them couple of years ago, and it turned out be a bad decision.0

I used soak for a complete bathroom and had no issues. Anything that wasn’t right was replaced. 18 months later, taps showed signs of corrosion and were replaced with no hassle.
If you did have a complaint I found it best to chase them up on Twitter. People don’t see the calls you make but they do see the social media posts so will act quickly.0 -
O/P is from 2017.....!0
