The EU could have taken on the UK standard which by the way means a weapon cannot be reactivated so what now has to happen to every UK deact firearm (if its to be sold on) now needs to have pretty much all the internal mechanism removed or welded up which means it cannot be cocked or dry fired or field stripped which many thousands of historical re-enactors have done successfully for decades under the UK system and not one certified deact weapon has been reactivated.

Yes, imagine how productive we could be if we didn't constantly sabotage our influence within the EU.

    On what authority?

On the same authority as BoJo saying leaving the EU, not allowing freedom of movement and not paying into the EU wouldn't mean losing access to the single market. He even managed to get people to vote to leave by saying that it would be an opening move in negotiations with the EU and we might even remain.

Go on, vote to leave, nothing bad can happen. Listen to BoJo. Oh dear, voted leave? Sorry but we just said those things, we didn't mean them.

If you're so sure, you should be able to post a link. Can you?

That isn't true at all, there is a huge amount of lies to for google to sift through from the leave campaign. It could take a while to find it. I tried to find BoJo's banana lie that he told in front of TV cameras the other day and gave up.

No, never worked for any Institution although sometimes business was like a mad house.
You should read more. Luxembourg benefits from being one of the first members all the way back to coal and steel. They are a small part but along with Brussels and Strasbourg benefit from hosting some institutions. The ECJ for example. Just like London did with the EBA and EMA.
In business it's called first mover advantage.
Optimistic Quittlings might think that Britain being the first country to leave the EU might have first mover advantage, now that would be a stretch.

You really must desist from appending your fear of the loss of EU quangos to others. Despite any pre-referendum comments to the contrary, I was under the impression that their loss would be a natural consequence of a vote to leave.
I'm pleased Luxembourg 'proffed' from its early membership of the EEC, I'm not sure how relevant that point is though.

You must give up very easily. It took me ten seconds. I somehow managed to avoid all the lies told by the remain campaign.

Yet another example of what I said yesterday about ridiculous posts by some remainers. If being pro-EU and wanting to remain is your thing fine, I have no beef with that. But why persistently resort to very obvious deception or even lying? It looks like these remainers have really not learned from the referendum that doing so has the opposite effect. Unless of course this is intentional and maybe such posters are really staunch leavers in disguise?

Oh and before some Joe or other tries another unnecessary snide remark, yes really.

Sorry copy and paste not working, that is strange.

Read it your self and you will find the quote
"THESE WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE BREXIT NEGOTIATIONS"

    Edit.

    This from Reuters.
    https://www.reuters.com/article/britain-eu-agencies/uk-says-no-decision-taken-yet-on-location-of-eu-agencies-post-brexit-idUSL8N1HP0V0
"LONDON, April 17 (Reuters) - The future location of the two European Union agencies based in London will be a matter for Brexit negotiations, the British government’s Brexit department said on Monday, but EU officials said there was no doubt they would be moved."
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.
  • A more predictable outcome of Brexit - inability to enter the Capital of Culture - has already happened. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-42095477

We were daft to think that wouldn't happen.

How was my remark snide or unnecessary?

I actually have more faith in you than that, I don't think you really make political decisions based on what 4 or 5 people say on a hidden message board.

    Istanbul 2010? Political posturing.

Of course times have changed since then. With the EU back pedalling on allowing Turkey membership.

Doesn't seem an efficient use of money to fund such an event from Brussels. Why not simply do the same internally within the UK.
