at the moment its your defence you concentrate on

and you might win , or they might discontinue , or the judge may strike it out on procedural grounds etc
And you’re likely get costs awarded to you. Why are you so content for an organisation you don’t know from Adam, to put their hand in your wallet/purse and now pull £350 out of it?

I’m sorry, but our enthusiasm and drive in the fight that we put up, helping hundreds of people every day, of every week, of each year, can so easily be deflated by a defeatist comment like:
might just pay it so i can get some sleep
We don’t get very much sleep at all. Most nights I go to bed knackered from the daily inputs, and Coupon-mad, who inputs the most, is often still helping people at silly o’clock in the early hours of the night/morning almost every day, 24/7/365.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Jeez, it’s Civil Enforcement for goodness sake. They’d be even more scared than you of appearing before a judge!

Write a good defence, follow the procedures and CEL will discontinue. Haven’t you read any of the rash of CEL cases currently littering the first few pages of the forum?
