I'm trying to re-claim mis-sold PPI from Capital One, through Resolver. I have had no response to emails since they replied to the first one I sent a few months ago and tonight I received this from an email I sent earlier today.
I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients.
I'm not sure if I'm replying in the correct way as I have used the reply button on the Resolver email but I have just noticed this at the side of the emails This is your unique email address for this complaint only. It ensures that all your correspondence is stored in one place. and wondered if I should be replying via this and if so, how as there is no link with it?
Any advice please?

I would start again and go direct. Resolver seems to be a poor way of contacting a lender.0

Thank you zx81, I've tried the Capital One website and it just directs me back to Resolver. From what I've read I thought it would be easy to reclaim by myself but I'm now wondering if I should use a claims management company.0
-
Definitely not.
The only reasons for using a claims company are if a) you have more money than you need b) you like extra work or c) you want to reduce your chances of success.
It sounds like you should raise this with Resolver, if you can.0 -
Do it on the link below
http://www.capitalone.co.uk/support/ppi-complaints.jsf
Use the phone number.
If you want to use a claims co, by all means do, but you know the reasons you should not do this it is in the post above, try yourself first.0 -
zx81 - a) no b) no and c) no - thank you.
amerall - I tried the link and it directed me back to Resolver. I also tried the phone number and left a message but haven't heard anything yet.
Do you know how I can contact Resolver please?
Thank you both for your advice I'll try Capital One again tomorrow.0 -
Is there a reason you can't print and fill in their form?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Why would a direct link to a Bank have any connection to third party Resolver???I tried the link and it directed me back to Resolve
Resolver is little more than an E-Mail template and banks will never refer you to this private company when you complain directly.Do you know how I can contact Resolver please?0 -
-taff - as I'd initially filled the details in online, I didn't think I needed to fill a form in but it may be an option now. I'll try ringing them again first though. I just don't want to start the whole 8-week? process again unless I have to.
This is the link I followed from Capital One's web site to Resolver, Moneyineptitude

Just download the complaint form and send it by post direct to the Bank.
