30 day limit on credit card protection?

Posting this on behalf of an elderly friend.
6 weeks ago she ordered £2.5k of garden furniture from an online business. She received a phone call a couple of days after the order was placed to say it was out of stock so would she be happy to keep the order open and accept delivery when back in stock. She agreed to this. 2 weeks later she received a call saying that they now had stock could they arrange delivery, but she was due to go on holiday the very next week so asked if she could put it off.
Once she returned she rang to arrange delivery, and the company have started ignoring her calls. Not returning emails now either, although the company is still trading and taking orders on their site.
She rang her credit card company to try and get them to step in but they have told her as it is now over 30 days since she placed the order there is nothing they can do for her. Is this correct?

No, it isn't. There's a time limit of 120 days for chargeback (usually) and 6 years for Section 75.
If the bank won't cooperate she needs to raise a complaint.0 -
Thanks dj1471, Looked up the Section 75 and it seems that she will be able to claim a refund from that.0
