Yes he has, he's either an AP or a SA IIRC. (starts everyone who doesn't know what they are thinking of suitable answers :rotfl:)

AP - Anger provider (Gets angry with waiters etc on behalf of very rich people that don't have the time to have emotions of their own)?

SA - Sarcasm Adjustor (Adjusts the level of sarcasm in written pieces. It's a very junior sub editor)?

    Am I right?

:rotfl: :rotfl: .....i've been wracking my brains all night to think what they meant!
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
    Ignore......check!

I am slightly off point and I can't offer advise for the OP, but although I don't agree with the tone of squats comments I do agree with the sentiment. My family and I have waited 7 years to be allowed on a council list as we moved voluntarily to this area(to be nearer family) we have been told that now we are allowed on the list we will probably wait 7 yrs to be housed. we are fortunate that we have a dear friend who allows us to rent a property from them but so many people require social housing that I really think that they should stop right-to-buy, social housing is very much needed in the area with people being relocated due to the olympic development etc.

Apologies to the OP for hijacking the thread, and sorry if I'm being nosey, but why do you want to rent from the Council rather than a private landlord?

I'm happy to rent from whoever will have me :D my folks had social housing as do my sisters so we asked to be on the list. As everyone knows on many occassions social housing offers a more affordable rent- for example my private rent is twice social housing rent so would make life slightly easier. but I have a roof over my family & I's head which is more than some and so for that I am fortunate. I was really just saying that there is a need for social housing as many can't afford private rents or to have a mortgage.

Fair enough . Round here the Council have neglected their housing stock for decades, all the decent houses have been sold and only the rubbish is left to rent. Perhaps council rents are TOO low? I don't know.

I wouldn't need one of these. I figure if people are too thick to work it out, they're not worth responding to.

Never heard of him, now, back to the question at hand, "which part of 'NO' are you not understanding?"
