I'm an exisiting Scottish power customer and was thinking of going on to Scottish power online - Just tried signing up via the site but it wants me to input my bank details to authorise a direct debit with them even though i'm already paying them this way.

Does anybody know if i do this will this not affect my original direct debit agreement? - Dont want to get charged twice by the same company!

  • Have you tried registering for 'Standard Online Access' then clicking 'Change your service' instead of simply registering for 'Full online access'? This may eliminate the DD form...but I'm not 100% sure :o !

Cheers Muffinhead - Worked out much simpler doing it that way!
