    OK

I have an old portable TV in the bedroom with just an RF/aerial lead, it gives me normal ch's ok. It does not have a scart socket.

    so..

Can I just plug this into the RF/aerial socket and it will work, or is it Scart only connections?

    thanks ...

  • Most cheap new digiboxes lack an RF modulator, and are scart only.
I just saw Argos advertising these boxes on Channel 5, so expect rather a lot of interest in them...
  • Saw this advertised late last night & was going to post it then, but was too tired to type.

Bought 2 today, not looked at them yet, but as they were originally priced at £30 I would think they will be of o.k quality.

Plenty in stock in my local branch still, aswell as other makes that have been reduced too.

    ...

From what I can see this Digilogic STB will not work as you'd like ....

...HOWEVER .. do you have a VCR with a SCART socket surplus to requirements ?

If so connect STB to VCR using SCART - use RF out on VCR to connect to TV.

VCR set to AV and away you go.

Obviously also allows you to record any Freeview channel !
