Parking with Ease Parking Charge

Hi all,

My partner (as the registered keeper) has been issued a parking charge from Park with Ease. The initial letter was dated 20/09/2017, for an 'offence' on 01/08/2017. We have since recieved a second letter dated 05/10/2017 threatening legal action if the charge is not paid within 14 days.

Apparently the payment machine wasn't working correctly, not allowing the driver to input the car registration. Obviously it's not possible to prove this however. I'm hoping to win an appeal based of them not contacting us until about 50 days after it happened.

Any suggestions to what to do? I've read the newbies thread, but if I'm honest it's just left me overloaded with information about what to do!!

Thanks in advance everybody

    Hi. Welcome to the forums.

Firstly, you need to edit your post to remove any clue to who was driving.

E.g. the first sentence of your second paragraph should be:
Apparently the payment machine wasn't working correctly, not allowing the driver to input the car registration.

Also, is your forum username your real name?
If so, you would be wise to get MSE to change it to something more anonymous.
To do that, click the report button below your post and ask the MSE Forum Team for help.
  • Thanks for the welcome, that paragraph has been changed now. Any advice on how to go about with a winning appeal?
