I subscribe to Birchbox and there's always loads of stuff in there that I don't use or want, mainly dry shampoos, hand creams, etcetera. They are only sample size but I was wondering if there is any where I can donate them to? I was looking at a site about Women's Refuge's but the one I found said it was not accepting donations. I would need to put these in the post, so if anyone could advise that would be great!!! Thanks in advance xx

Maybe try a homeless shelter, the one where I live loves things like this.

A food bank will usually take them.
(And sanitary towels too, if you can spare a few quid the women and girls they help would be very grateful.)0 -
It's coming up to that time of year when Christmas shelters are starting to collect donations too.Signature removed for peace of mind0

as someone who gets birchbox and glossybox (not very MSE i know...) i always wonder this. i have tried to look into donating but a lot of places don't seem to view make up as a high need item - which i completely understand. i thought about maybe approaching the food banks or shelters to set up a kind of 'treat' box alongside the necessities. sometimes it's nice to pamper yourself with a face mask or bit of make up, it just cheers you up. maybe add sanitary products alongside that for those in need? then i could collect donations from other people too!CCCC #33: £42/£240
