Can I get a Business bk ac with CCJ's

Does anyone have any recent information when they have succeeding in actually opening a business bank account with CCJ's and/or a bad credit history.
We want to do this but our own bank Nat West have said 'not worth trying' and that's the apparent comment from most older postings on this forum.
The proposed business won't need lots of cash to run; all we really want is an ac to keep things separate and as it is to be a ltd co a so named ac would 'look' better, albeit not necessary.
What do others do, that is, do you just open another separate personal account and use that for the business only, or is anyone aware of a bank that might offer accounts like this. I know this is sort of ok since, unless you're regularly putting a lot of transactions through the bk / bldg soc won't have a problem with it, and if they did, surely that would then be time for them to offer you a 'proper' ac anyhow?
I've seen some of the 'pay our fee and we'll guarantee you an a/c' ads on the web but their small print doesn't bear good reading (ie refund after they've run out of places to try ...)
Any ideas?

Bump.
Does the lack of any replies mean there's no-one out there with bad debts and a business bank account or is my post in the wrong place?
C'mon guys, just a little help!
Thanks.0 -
Interestingly NatWest state on there online application for Business Bank accounts: (Quote from NatWest web site)
Are you aware of any Adverse Bureau Data e.g County Court Judgements (CCJ's) registered against any of the authorised signatories on the account? *
(If yes, you may only have an account with NWDBB)
So it appears possible to get a Business Current Account but not at branch, only direct banking, which maybe why the branch you spoke to advised against applying (ie no commission for them!!!)
Hope this helps.0 -
Mmm, interesting. I'll check that out.

I have an account with Lloyds TSB that I opened a couple of years back with 2 CCJ's and a couple of defaults.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0
