I'm going for a long weekend to Cork in a couple of weeks with my BF and thought you may have some ideas about what to do (other than drink Guinness and whisky!), where to go for good nightlife and food etc.
Any tips would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

There is a wildlife park just outside cork that you could visit or a trip to nearby Cobh (pronounced cove) which was the last stop the titanic made before setting off.Cover me in honey and fling me to the hermaphrodites!0 -
Oliver Plunkett Street, loads of pubs. Oh and the whisky in Ireland is spelt with an "e" whiskey. (Presuming its Irish whiskey you'll be drinking and not Scotch)0

Kinsale is beautiful. If you like fish, there's a very good, small restaurant called "Fishy Fishy". Just ask for directions, everyone knows it.
I've found the link!

That would be Fota Island in Cobh and the Cobh Heiritage Centre - you can take the train from the city train station, hop over on the ferry from Passage or through the Jack Lynch Tunnell (and that is near Mahon shopping centre, not Mann point!!!)
