Megaflo release valve handle broken - is it safe?

I was giving my Megaflo boiler its routine "bubble regeneration" and as I finished the release knob broke off in my hand. Seems to be wear and tear as I certainly wasn't being particularly forceful with it.

The boiler seems to have drained normally, pressure is at the usual 1 bar and there is no water flowing down the release/drain pipe.

Is it safe and ok to use? should I be getting someone in to check it as an emergency?

It’s a temperature pressure relief valve, it’s a very important component so I would definitely get it replaced. I wouldn’t imagine it’s a emergency job. You will need a G3 qualify plumber to replace it.
