Even my college course has work experience in it, and my job coach promised to get interviews arranged for 2 previous job tasters but didn't bother in the end but is the first person to push me for anything that comes up, considering one was a highly sought after position and at the job taster they outright said with my background and knowledge they were keen to take me on (as a apprentice) why turn down a £10.50 a hour chance (job coach just needs to arrange it) at a job I enjoy and excellent career prospects for one that most people don't get past 3 months and minimum wage?

This does sound like a much better opportunity. Why does your job coach have to arrange the interviews? Are you allowed to contact the companies yourself to try to move this forward?

Its a opportunity aimed at people such as myself who are seen as vulnerable or problems in life or have disabilities.

Because of that it must be done through official channels as the job coach works as the middle man, and is meant to be there with you the first week (not that I need them) to ease your transition and arrange transport and get feedback for both sides

I know which employer this is from what you've posted. The company are okay and will offer a lot of support for people with disabilities.I don't know which campaign it is though so I guess it depends on the targets you're set. Are they sales targets? Is it worth asking if they have something that's not so sales based if so? With Christmas coming up they'll be looking for people for lots of things.

My experience of call centers was not good for my mental health. It entailed 12 hours shifts and nasty abusive customers. I lost that job after attempting suicide due to the sheer stress it caused me.

I'd peersonally be looking for different options. That job cost me 3 years of my life i'm never getting back

Anyway I asked at the interview about part time and they said its doable but they never know when a start could be, could be next week could be 4 months down the line (its when they get a sizable amount of part time applicants in a go)

I got that job, but no start date so should be fine, I needed a passport for ID anyway which would take about 6-8 weeks I am assuming.

You should go for the interview and find out. Ask them outright how they respond to the things you've heard about them. Then make up your own mind.

Find out if your local NHS MH Trust has an Individual Placement and Support Programme. Ask for their support.

I'd make sure you feel comfortable to do it for a long time before accepting an offer.

I had various, most recent was yesterday, was meant to be shown round, given talk about company, shown the ropes and a hour or me doing the job.

In reality it was turn up, be handed a knife walked to large cage of heavy items and told to stack shelves, no health and safety induction, so 4 and a half hours of unpaid work (as 30 minute break) stacking shelves and not even offered my expenses!

    Was exhausting really.

Work frequently is exhausting but at least it wasn't stressful.
