One Call car insurance
Has anyone here used One Call car insurance? They're showing up as one of the cheapest for us on comparison sites, but no Defaqto rating. TrustPilot reviews look excellent, but Which website mentions hidden admin fees when changing details.
Specifically looking for anyone who's had to make a claim through One Call, or changed their vehicle etc and can comment on their experiences. Thanks!

This long running thread will show you why they are cheap

Imagine how bad they might be in the event of a claim, if they behave like the above thread when swapping cars.
FWIW, we use LV and had no charge to swap a 4 year old car for a new one, same spec, same horse power. No charge to swap original number to a personal plate a few days later, either.
4 years ago we had a minor accident claim and that was handled very smoothly. Their prices are as good or better than most too.0 -
Good morning
are one call any good for home insurance.
Thank you for your replies.:0 -
We had van insurance with them last year, was £900, they sent the renewal this year for £2700!
I called them to cancel this and they took the money from my account anyway! I called them to complain (this took me beyond my overdraft!) and the money was returned a few days later.
We got insurance elsewhere for £900 again.0
