Barclaycard/Egg PPI

Hi, I have received a letter from Barclaycard saying that there was PPI on my account, they are now asking for further information such as my salary in February 2000, any savings, known illness etc.
Is there any right or wrong answers to these questions or are they just trying to see if they can get out of agreeing it was mis-sold and avoid any repayment?
Thanks
Gerardo

The right answers are the true ones.
The wrong ones are the ones where you tell fibs.
They're asking you for to provide evidence to support your complaint.0
