Hi, my son will (hopefully) be going away to university in 2018. His applications are predominantly in England although we live in NI. I've been researching maintenance loans and want to check what I'm reading is right..... English students attending English universities can apply for maximum of over £8k (means tested) while NI domiciled students attending English universities can only apply for maximum of just over £4,300 (also means tested). Surely this can't be fair??
