BT Hotspots

I am today in Rayleigh in Essex the bt hotspots are terrible and a disgrace.
This morning I could get on but this afternoon most of the time I can't then when I can it disconnects shortly afterwards other times connects and says no internet.

Any ideas why?

I've never found BT hotspots to be particularly good ... I find using data works far quicker than a BT hotspot WiFi connection.

As to why? Not sure - I guess it depends on how much bandwidth each access point makes available to guest connections, and the general bandwidth available to that connection (broadband speed).
