Come on!
Just write a letter:
Dear LL,
As you aware, I moved into your property on X. Unfortunately, despite assurance from the agency that all matters identified would be deal with before my moving date, this did not take place. As a result, I was without X, Y and Z, and had to deal with many phone calls, and needing to be in the property to let tradesman in during my first few days in the property. This has caused me stress during that time.
I am pleased that actions were taken to resolves all these matters (although X still remains to be fixed), however, I do feel it would be reasonable if as a gesture of goodwill, you would agree to reduce next month's rent by £50 to account for the inconvenience.
Yours sincerely
You then go to the agency and request that it is forwarded to the LL directly (if you didn't get the address from them) and that you will be chasing them until they have received a response from the LL to transfer.
Of course, these actions might result in just more stress and no positive outcome for you.0
