Companies House has two companies that once used the name Halifax Cetelem

    CETELEM (UK) LIMITED
    https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/03610034

    PACIFIC LEASING LIMITED
    https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/02279166

Cetelem UK is insolvent and has been in liquidation since 2011. Pacific Leasing is still going.

OK then. Will look into this BUT, what if I am faced with a liquidated company?
How do I get any PPI appeal heard from there? Is there some sort of compensation scheme operating for such cases?

Unless someone took over their liabilities, you don't. There is no compensation scheme for such cases.

Do you have evidence of misselling?

If it was sold after January 14th 2005, it's the FSCS but they pay 90% and no interest.

If it was before, forget it.

Very clearly wasn't sold after 2005.
