Anyone heard of a Freeview recorder that you can stream programs you have recorded into other rooms, or onto mobile devices?
I've got a Windows Media Center set up with two WMC Extenders, but they don't work great and often need restarting half way through a program. It's all deprecated so you can't buy new equipment.
Don't want to pay for Sky or VM, I just want Freeview with the functionality I am used to. Would like to be able to record stuff without leaving my PC on all evening too.
Anyone seen such a thing?

You can also play live/recorded onto your mobile using the Humax app with the Fvp4000t/5000t.0

Have you heard of Slingbox? They make devices that convert a video feed (from a TV, free view DVR, etc.) into a network stream, so you can watch on computers, smart TVs, etc.
Don't know if they might be worth a look...?0
