Biting the hand that feeds is totally unnecessary.
Suggest you edit your rant if you hope for more help0 -

Quentin.
Thanks for your advice but I suggest you carefully read the previous posts. You will find that Redx was the first to rant at the lack of mention that I was not the driver, when it was clear as day at the top of the page where it says that my step daughter was driving. I politely stated that I did not understand his comment. He then came back at me and accused me of being selfish for not contributing to a forum for which I am not qualified.
I don't expect Redx to contribute any more to my thread but it would be appreciated if others would continue, as they have been civil and polite when offering their advice.0 -

The fact that I was not the driver is revealed in my first post, which is repeated at the top of every page.
Most of the people who assist here are using the old green forum skin, because the new blue/white skin is an abomination on the eyes ... this skin does not repeat the first post at the top of each page.
Ergo Redx's comment was correct and reasonable.0 -

How does that excuse him for calling me selfish?0 -
People are allowed their own points of view - my response was regarding the comment relating to trawling the thread, to show why that comment was made and why I believe it was reasonable. I make no comment regarding the rest of that post or any other post, other than to say you did ask Redx for constructive comment - Redx obviously felt that the response was constructive; you obviously disagree.0

I would have had to trawl through over 150 posts to find info from the earlier posts and like Redx I would never do that.
I do NOT see the first post repeated at the top of every page and I DETEST that view of the forum - IMHO a horrible cluttered and overly colourful version.
Anyway the OP can find what he needs by doing some searches:Successfully using this forum is all about the searching, not the thread.
Search the forum for:
Wilkes VCS ROA
Thornton v Shoe Lane
Vine v Waltham Forest
...and all will be revealed, written several times over for & by others in your shoes.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Richie. The rationale behind searching for yourself is that if/when you go to court you will have an understanding and be able to argue your points. It is likely that VCS will go the whole way and may use one of their own legals as they are a Sheffield based company. You will need to keep your cool and stay focused.
