Hi,

I have an "outstanding" ticket from approx 2.5 years ago. I caused a large stink at the time and they made numerous mistakes on almost all documentation. I haven't heard anything from anyone about it for 18 months or so. However, they could still come at me within the next 3.5 years.

I moved house 6 months ago, and have a RM redirect still in place. However, I would like to give notice of my new address.

Who should I send this notification to (PPC/Threatening letter lot? Is proof of postage enough?

Is there a sample letter anywhere on the forum that covers the basics and allows me to make it clear to them that I will persue for costs/damages should one of their usual "administrative errors" occur and LBCs go to the old address?

Oh and is this the recommended course of action?

Thanks!

Yes, a free certificate of posting from the PO counter. Send to both the PPC and their dogs.

I'd look at the letter being chewed over right now on Daniel san's thread because it points out the new protocol for debt claims and threatens the sort of thing you want to threaten!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just been reading that thread actually, but it's a long one! Yep I thought I'd read that certificate of posting is enough and actually puts the onus on them to prove non-delivery? That's for confirming.

Happy to send to both PPC and dogs, though slightly concerned that VCS use numerous "Dogs" and switch around. Still as long as I'm covered.

Will find the letter and put something more generic together. Many thanks!
