Apartment in Tenerife

I am hoping someone on this forum can help me find a 1 bedroom apartment for rent in Tenerife either in Las Americas or Los Christianos for 1 month.
We are a retired couple and for the past two years have managed to rent an apartment for just over £500 for 1 month, unfortunately they have been quite high up in Los Christianos and because I have arthritis in my hip it is now too much for me to make the walk up the hill.
We are wanting to go from 25th Jan to 22nd Feb next year, I have gone through all the usual websites but the prices we have been quoted are right out of our budget.
If anyone knows of someone who would be willing to rent to us at this price or knows of a publication advertising holiday apartments I would be very grateful.
Regards

Thanks for your reply, I have already tried this site, plus holiday-rentals and a good many more internet sites. What I am hoping for now is that we can find an apartment that advertises independently, or someone who will be willing to rent to us who would normally only rent to aquaintances.
We are retired, non smokers and would be responsible for all cleaning and laundry and would of course take good care of the apartment.
Hope someone can help us.

Thanks folks for your replys.
I have checked your parents apartments, firemeup, unfortunately they do not have availability for the dates we want.
I have also been on to the Daltons Weekly and Broadway travel sites, rubia and little red devil, they have nothing in our price range.
We will just have to keep on looking and hoping.
Kind regards

It's in Gold del sur which is where we stayed for a month last year. Nice and flat and very nice area. Local bus to PDA and Los Cristianos about 40 mins away.
Free from 25/1/08 for 4 weeks at £150 a week. May give discount.

In the end you may find it cheaper just to budget for taxi rides up the hill.I believe they are only a few Euros.Trying to keep it simple...
