Spuninst.inf files?

A few years ago I used to use Bearshare on this pc. I uninstalled everything about 12 months or so ago, prefering to pay for my music instead. However, I did a scan on Spybot this morning after doing an update and it bought up 3 Bearshare files on my pc. I immediately 'fixed' them and did a couple of searches on my pc hard drive for Bearshare. It bought up a couple of registration entries (which I left hoping that CCleaner will deal with), text document files (I deleted) and loads of spuninst files which are in the hidden file section of my pc. I am wondering if it is safe to delete these files. Theres a good 100 or so of them dated back 3 or 4 years.
Obviously file sharing in this way is against the law and I would prefer to delete any reference to Bearshare for my own peace of mind but dont want to delete anything that I shouldnt so I could do with your help in deleting any references to Bearshare in a safe way.
By the way, what are Spuninst.inf files?

Looks like these are configuration files for the Windows uninstal process:

I would say that it would be best to leave them alone as they would be needed if you wanted to perform an uninstallation in the future.0
