Do you shred both the leaves and the stems CLF? I never quite know what to do with the stuff, I grow it mainly because it looks pretty :o

I usually shred the stems separately and use in place of/mixed with celery in the base of things

    Morning all

Feeling a bit headachey this morning. This cold that OH had hasn't really hit me too hard (sore throat and a bit of a tickly cough) but seems to linger.

    Yesterday's round up:
    • Meals from plan - done
    • Log cals in free counter - done
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Tell time wasting FB buyer that I'm going to sell the item to someone else. 4 NO SHOWS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
    • Run at lunchtime before the rain really sets in - no way. It's miserable out there!
    • Rare Sat night off for OH so do something fun together (OH wants to have a gaming night) - done
    • No drinkies (over 2 weeks now and still not feeling hard done by) - done
    • Hopefully OH will do some cleaning because the house is a pigsty - done
    • Look up how to fix the gmail push notifications on Android Nougat - done
    • Relist some ebay/FB items - done
    • download new freebie chores app as am not getting notifications from the current one. - done. Seems to work so far. Am putting the chores into it

    Today:
    • Meals from plan - done
    • Log cals in free app - done
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Packed a lunch for OH as he's gigging all day at a local marathon! - done
    • Encourage OH to take a thermos of tea - done
    • Run at lunchtime if the weather holds - nah, will work through and leave early
    • Continue tinkering with new app. - done
    • No drinkies
    • Crochet
    • Bit of a tidy. House still seems a mess but I suspect that it's because I'm not pleased with some of my arrangements. Plus OH has been doing the housework for some time now and he's just not very thorough. He doesn't get into corners or clean as thoroughly as me and it's starting to show. Can't wait till I start my Saturdays off so that I can get on top of things!
    • Looked up easy apple wine recipe to deal with apples gifted to me by colleague - done
    • Asked OH to pick up pectolase while in town (saves a special trip!)
    • Reconcile budget sheet - done
    • Remind OH that if there's anything to be washed and dried for the holiday he needs to let me know in the next day or so!
    • read more about the push notification issue - still having problems! - done. I give up. I have swapped my email app over to a different one that appears to be working as expected.
    not very exciting I know!

    Have a good one all

I cashed out about a week ago, La E, and still haven't had the email with the Amazon code, apparently it comes from the email address info@tango. You can cash out at any amount so might be worth doing it sooner rather than later.

Cheers FVD - I've just cashed out and it came through within an hour... Might be worth going back to them to see where yours has got to... Came from noreply @ tangocard.com

Oh Purps, I've been there... Definitely worth starting again though as it'll annoy you if you continue and then need to adapt the instructions etc...

    Happy Sunday!

    Morning all!

Day off today and I plan to mostly spend it cleaning the house, downstairs isn't too bad, nor the bathroom but, as ever, my bedroom is housing mountains of clean washing and DS's room is housing pretty much every plate and piece of cutlery in the house.

I need to pop to the hardware store for a plug for the bathroom sink, we have one of those pop up ones which keeps getting jammed, I'd rather keep it simple with a regular plug!

A small shop is in order, I need milk though have plenty of meat in but need a few snacks for DS for the fridge.

I would usually see my mum today but I may try to reschedule to tomorrow as it breaks the day up too much and a want to get on with stuff.

Have a good day all :)

Everyone sounds so active and I have been doing basically nothing but resting up.
Have been catching up on some messages today.
Plan to give the kitchen a tidy and the floor a mop-it desperately needs it.
Got my Christmas vouchers yesterday, really does feel like Christmas is on its way. I'm really chuffed that through good budgeting I never missed the money to pay for the vouchers throughout the year. The love to shop vouchers I will keep for the sales or if I need anything.
Also got some M&S ones-a treat for DD and myself, we're going on a shop next weekend when she is home.
I will also get a couple of their boxes of biscuits that are half price at the minute ready for birthdays after Christmas and handy to have in as thank you presents.
Still need to update my spends book
Heating was on but not a lot yesterday but off today as it is quite mild out-washing to go out.
That's about it from me, have a great Sunday everyone x

This is the number 1 priority! :) I made myself really ill by not resting up.

Awww thanks CLF I really am my own worst enemy sometimes, I get fidgety and guilty that I'm doing nothing but forget that I'm doing good for my body.
Have been good the last couple of days, no choice my body just refused to do anything else!
