Problems Replying on MSE with Firefox

Recently using Firefox 2.0.0.7 (under XP Pro SP2) if I reply to a thread here and click the quick reply button, the page goes blank and the reply isn't posted, I use several security add-ins including "no-script" but obviously the site is allowed, I've also temporarily allowed Google Analytics, but that doesn't make any difference. I've never had any issues until recently.
It's only started to happen in the last 2 weeks, annoying when you type a long reply and then it disappears!
No viruses or spyware and I've cleaned out all the cache etc just in case.
Having to revert to IE at the moment
all other sites with forums work fine, any known recent issues with this MSE site and Firefox?

Not an answer or solution to your problem but just posted this using Firefox 2.0.0.7 and XP Home SP2.0

Try downloading and using Minefield

i use firefox and xp with sp2 and don't experience any issues either.
It sounds like a security setting on your machine or blocking some script that must run.

Trouble is it's worked fine for years, and still works sometimes, and I haven't changed any security settings! Hate these type of problems.
Will investigate minefield...
(PS posting this with Firefox, if it works, it'll prove just how intermittent the fault is!)0 -
I seemed to have narrowed it down, it seems to be a problem, as they say in the best IT comedy sketches, with the Cookies! If I let the MSE cookies persist on the machine for a while, opening threads brings up blank pages that won't reload (even if you force the page to refresh, nothing is there), and also I still get the replying issue mentioned earlier.
It doesn't happen with any other website, and I'm a pretty heavy user, my work has a large on-line element.
I stripped off Firefox, and reinstalled v2.0.0.9 but it still happened. Curious...0
