I just got a new unused (unwanted insurance replacement) 64GB S6 Edge for £250, I don't expect it run out of space soon. Its gorgeous! and it may be 2 generations behind but its still ahead of an iphone 8 on spec.
Winner winner, chicken dinner!0 -

OK thats over £450 over 2 years but when taking the calls and texts into account, approx half is the phone and half is the usage. Seemed like a good deal to me. To buy the handset last year would have been much more.
Which phone company is this with?0 -

Where did you buy this?0 -
I seem to recall one of the Galaxy models was prone to bursting into flames. Does anyone know which model?0

Where did you buy this?
VERY carefully! on Ebay by biding my time and waiting for a good seller and item. After damaging their old S6 in water the seller had already upgraded to the more waterproof S7!
Funnily enough I had bid on another new one but got outbid, I got a second chance offer as the higher bidder had dropped out but I had already bought elsewhere. Just don't pay silly money, £250 is a good price for a new one. If the price goes over look again.
There are plenty of companies selling refurbished ones but they make up their own grading systems so I avoided.
Plenty of private sellers have insurance replacements or unwanted upgrade phones provided under their contract when they have already switch network or bought the latest phone instead.0 -
I currently use a Galaxy S4 16 gb which is about 4 years old. It no longer meets my needs as it doesn't have enough memory for the apps I want. I have transferred as many as I can to an sd card, but much of the stuff on there can't be moved.
I am therefore looking for recommendations for my next phone. I would like a Galaxy as I know how to use and don't want to have to spend time learning a new brand from scratch. I need more than 16 gb, but don't know how many fixed apps are in 32gb phones. They seem to fill up a lot of the memory with stuff I don't want.
I would rather not pay for the latest model. In the S6 OK? If I got a 32 gb S6, how much memory would be empty? Any other suggestions?
Isn’t it the s6 that does not have a slot for a sd card? Go for s7 or s8 if you want a Samsung. Sony x or XZ are decent too.0 -
