Hasn't this week whizzed by?
I think I'm all prepared for tomorrow, providing assorted grandparents arrive on time  I have an extra child tonight - microbaby- and I need him to be collected before 9am... Yikes.
I have meals ready to warm up, need to get football kit and DD clothes together too.
I'm sure there is something I've forgotten...Bossymoo

Evening all
After DH took himself off to the model railway show this morning, I cleaned all through downstairs and steam mopped all the hard floors including the utility and the workmen's loo.
DS1 and family invited themselves to lunch, so i was able to give DDiL1 her birthday present only 2 days late.
I have done 2 MAD half hours in the garden and pruned the quince japonica into submission again. I have almost caught up with emails, and I have booked Rosie into kennels for 2 days the week after next when we shall be spending a night with DD so that we can go and hear Terry Waite speak at Sandown Park.
Pleased with my bit of progress today, and DH has enjoyed his outing0 -
Shopping done.. everyone placed in bed and now sleeping..
OH has laid a dozen eggs so far about his new job tomorrow lol
Twinkle vomited all over the milk aisle in T's.. cue major cleanup.. cleaner did not look happy!! It's your job love!! I got a filthy look for using the disabled loo.. I cant even get in the normal cubicles with my crutches and inability to step sideways! Maybe you are only allowed to use them if you use a wheelchair!
The kitchen is FULL of fruit flies.. So all fruit has been put in the fridge and the bins all washed and the pans all washed and sparkling.. I need to whizz over the hob tomorrow but with the girls home Twinkle might be a little entertained so I might get something productive done.. she is so clingy!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
No housework being done here.
Went out last night to Himself's uni buddy's 40th birthday - and then went to a mate's gig this evening.
Now, I will fully admit that I was feeling a teensy bit delicate, but Himself was claiming that he was absolutely fine and we should still go out tonight. So I agreed.
No more than ten yards round the corner and some idiot woman in a huge Mercedes, not even tall enough to have the top of her head visible over the steering wheel, decided it would be a good idea to not stop at the end of the side road and pull straight out without looking, in the pouring rain - right in front of a car going at about 25/30mph. Fortunately, the other driver had great reflexes and a tiny gap had opened up in the traffic going the other way, so he managed to miss her by a couple of inches. We were about 5 foot away from the idiot woman's car, as we were about to cross the side road.
After I retrieved Himself from the garden hedge I'd shoulder barged him into the moment I'd seen her approaching the junction at speed/seen the car coming, he began looking a little peaky.
We lasted an hour out before he asked to come home and he is currently hugging the toilet. Not sure if it's a delayed hangover or shock, but he really doesn't sound particularly well.
If it's shock well, I know it must be vaguely alarming to be walking along one minute and the next to find yourself in a bush, but it's got to be better than nearly getting squished by a miniature moron in a Merc, hasn't it?
He can bleach the bathroom in the morning. I'm not a monster, after all.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

DW on again and its still not all done!!
Pizza for dinner for the girls I think.. and then bath and bed. I told OH I would try to keep Squeak up to see him shen he gets in but it depends on her behaviour and how tired she is.
Slurped a cuppa and a couple of yoghurts, see if it wakes me up any!
Middle room still a swamp but the kitchen has minor progress.. I don't want OH coming home thinking I've been doing nothing all day.. something has to look different!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
