i have a bidder who never payed for some items. I have put in a dispute and i think i get my fees back if they dont respond. Would you relist the item again now or do you think i should leave it to see if they respond? Its been about 2 weeks since they bid.

When did you open the dispute? After 7 days of opening the dispute you will be eligible for FVF credit.
If it has been 2 weeks I doubt they will respond, I would relist & add them to your blocked bidders list.0 -
opened the dispute last thursday. Would you leave bad feedback at the risk of them leaving me bad feedback, and if they did would i be able to get it retracted? (if that makes sense).0

If they do not respond before the dispute is closed then any feedback they leave will not actually count against your socre. The comments will be visible but there will be a note saying along the lines of "buyer did not respond to NPB dispute"
If they have not paid & when the dispute is closed I would leave negative feedback for non payment0 -

Interesting, I was not aware of this at all.
Apologies for hijacking the thread, but I have a vaguely similar scenario (connected with an ongoing saga discussed elsewhere on this forum!).
I had a buyer who, in association with a friend/alias, wrecked a number of my auctions several weeks ago. He bid on several of my items with no intention of paying; I opened up disputes; he responded on them but, as it was clear that he did not intend to pay, I closed the disputes and received FVFs.
I have been disinclined to leave negative feedback, as I am sure that I will get the same in return. Will this feedback not count on my score, in view of the fact that it is from a Non-Paying-Bidder, or does the fact that he responded to the dispute mean that it will?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.0 -
Sirham, if a buyer responded to the dispute as they appear to have done in your case then any feedback they give willr emain. For the feedback to automatically be removed the dispute must be closed without any buyer response.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for the response Soolin. Shame that is the case though; I will have to resist leaving feedback, and thus not be able to warn others.
I guess the 'buyer' knew what he was doing when he responded to the dispute. Makes me wonder how many other times he might have done this and got away with it.
Thanks again for taking the time to respond.0
