I only want to drive my car to the dealer to buy it from me. Where's the cheapest place to find hourly or daily insurance?

Ask the dealer to collect it on their own insurance.

Also, I have to set up a direct debit to tax the car again even though it's only for one day, will i be able to cancel immediately or can i not do it until it has a new RK?

How far do you have to move it? If you have to tax and insure it you might find it much cheaper to get it moved on a truck/trailer if it's only a few miles.

You can tax it and then get home and cancel it, but its going to cost you a months tax.

You can drive it directly to a centre directly with no MOT but i really would nt be doing it with no tax.
Do you have a link that says you can ?

Thanks guys, well I've taxed it, and tomorrow will have to cancel it so it's cost me £26, just looking for the cheapest insurance now, it's about 10 miles i have to drive it.

That'd probably still work out cheaper than getting it trailered over. At 10 miles I'm surprised the dealer didn't collect it though.
