Just had the call as well, not too pushy, just wanted to give me a quote and 50% off a conservatory. i just said no and he was fine... strange thing though, he said that i'm in the top 1000 of the competition as of today... did anyone else get told this? seems very strange...!

I have entered, but put a mobile number down to one I don't use much so they can call all they like they won't get me.... and I will check the ans machine and if it is a winning call Ill give them a buzz back :-)

If I get 'sales' calls on my mobile I just tell people am at work and can't talk right now....or going into a tunnel on the tube and hang up.

Works quite well, wonder when I will get my call....

I just got a call from these people too - they ar SOOOO rude !:mad:
I def said I did not want to be contacted when I filled in this comp cos I suspected they'd give the hard sell, but they obviously ignore annd still contacted me.
I had real trouble understanding the mans accent - v broad scottish and he kept having to repeat things, he was getting v stroppy and then he just hung up ! Well one way to get rid of them I suppose ! :rotfl:

Yep I have had 2 calls from these today badgering me to have new windows, doors, guttering and a conservatory.

I had the same fone call too 2day, but agreed to let them come and quote, they said they would come at 7pm 2nite. They also said someone would fone l8r on and let us know who was coming and to confirm the time.

We didnt get that 2nd fone call so we said we would say it wasnt convenient and because know one foned to confirm they were coming we had made arrangements to go out...................they didnt show anyway

I should have just said no when they foned the 1st time lol

Like most on MSE.com i bet.........we cant afford a conservatory........but it would be fantastic if we won 1!!!!!!! I just thought showing interest may stand us a better chance of winning :rotfl:
