IKEA Foam Mattress - no receipt

Hi,
I've just bought a Morgedal foam mattress. I went for the medium-firm and it's pretty soft, to be honest.
Can I take it back without a receipt?
Has anyone got one of these and was the firm one a lot better?
Thanks!

Why no receipt and do Ikea take back used mattresses, or is it still sealed in the wrapper?0

Yes, Ikea allow you to return a used mattress for an exchange within 90 days from purchase provided that it's not damaged or marked.societys_child wrote: »Why no receipt and do Ikea take back used mattresses, or is it still sealed in the wrapper?
However, they do state that a receipt is required.0 -
Hmm, wonder what they do with 'em after being used for 3 months . . .provided that it's not damaged or marked
Edit: thought about it, sell to hotels or something, maybe.0 -
Did you pay by credit card? Many good retailers / shops e.g. John Lewis will accept your statement in lieu of a receipt."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Did you swipe a family card? I often receive follow up emails asking me to complete a survey about what I bought, so they may have access to records showing what you bought too.0
