it's still broken :rotfl: he told me I would get a call within 48 hours from BG telling me if it was BER, or they would replace the drum. If replacing the drum.... he would be coming back to replace it for me.... but it's a big job....
lots of tea and coffee me thinks.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
final call received from sky tonight.
They have cancelled this month's bill of £90.50 (included installation and telephone and part month charges.) Unfortunately it comes out of DH's account, so no benefit to me. I told him and he wasn't very impressed. He was hoping for free sky movies for a year and then told me in the next breath he doesn't really care for tv anyway....
(men are strange... he sits and watches tv all day on his day off, if we don't push him to get up and do something with us)0 -

Just stopping by to give my total £110.51, I couldn't give as much time to this challenge as I would have liked this month and it will be the same next month. I will set myself a target but I am not too concerned if I can't do it as I have other priorities at the moment.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0

I've been saving the reductions on phone etc. contracts that I haggled last month. I've also used a lot of vouchers to get stuff free or a lot cheaper. My October savings were :
£64 surveys, £39 haggling reductions, £30 Nectar points, £7 Tesco points, £42 interest, £42 vouchers used, £20 saved by finding new shirt & sweater husband needed in charity shop instead of M&S!
So a total for the month of £244, which added to my running total since 01 April = £2298 for 214 days so, cumulatively, I'm still just above £10 a day :j0 -
