Only another £2.30 to add from eBay this weekend but still takes me to £89.94 for month. I've been a bit fed up with surveys and swagbucks. I always start the month great but lose interest so I need to get back to it and find a way to make £10 by the weekend! Xx0

DH thinks I make nothing from all these sites. One day when I get my spreadsheet together I can show him how much I earn.

Thanks MrsC. Are your girls twins? Might seem a silly question but I suppose they could share a birthday and be a year or two apart. I wondered before when you said they were both off to uni but forgot to ask then. I have twin boys.£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

Can you take time away from kids for you two to sit and talk? And really talk?

I agree with Aesop.. you need to talk as this unknown and stress isn't good for anyone.
Thank you both. OH doesn't want to talk atm. I tried this morning but didn't get anywhere. Really don't think we can fix things but splitting up is going to be difficult. Feeling very down today. I'm still in bed! So much for getting lots sorted on my week off work :rotfl:
Hope you can sort things out with hubby Aesop. Men are such children sometimes (or all the time) :rotfl:£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

Gosh - sorry to read about all the problems on the home-fronts. Wish I could do something to help. Sending lots of big, squishy hugs and hope you both manage to find a better way forward.

Have £1 Amazon voucher to add from bigDL.
Total now £73.91
Did you all see the £6 extra code when you buy £30 gift card at Amazon in Martin's newsletter. I use Amazon a lot so will definitely do this. Hello, just thought I'd update here about my 'forgotten' pension in case anyone remembers that I mentioned I had one.
I called a month ago and was told I would be written to within 10 days. That letter never came but I have just had a better look online where I now see the information is available through registering.
I left in 1996 after about 6 months in a job and in that time paid into a salary pension scheme.
I am eligible to 'retire' from the company pension at 50.
The sum quoted now on my statement is that I am due £1526.96 per year.
However, should I choose to be paid this when I am 50 (which although possible is still considered early retirement) the sum paid per year is reduced by 4%.
That means £1,465 a year after around £61 a year is taken off.
That’s £1,172 after tax.
There is an option to request a cash (tax free) lump sum instead. On the website it says this is up to a quarter of the capital value of the pension pot. I looked up what 'capital value' is and this is the yearly sum times 20.
So I worked this out to be around £7,300.
But this isn't an exact figure and it says it would be worked out exactly when I choose to retire.
So my conclusion is:
I am very glad I decided to look this up.
I should leave it as a yearly sum to be paid to me over the next 20 years.
I think I should find out about my next job and whether I paid into a pension there!
I hope this may encourage other people to find out?
Cheers xx0
