Virgin Money Essential (basic) Account - facilities and applying

I am considering opening one of these for matched betting.
I read in another thread on this board that the Virgin Money basic account doesn't allow you to move money online to other accounts. Is that correct?
Can you use it for standing orders?
Can you get withdrawals done by phone, if not online? (Seems unlikely).
Are the only ways of taking money out of it the debit card and cashpoints? (in which case it maybe isn't what I need)
Also, what info do Virgin Money ask you for, in terms of income and/or expenses when you apply? Or do they just want the ID and address, and to do a basic credit check to confirm who you are?
Thank you

They do a credit check.
Since they are willing to consider applications from those that are 'currently bankrupt', their income requirements may not be too onerous.0
