Annual Travel Insurance for Long Trips

Does anyone know of an annual travel insurance policy that allows multiple trips for longer than 45 days for our ages, please?
My wife (74 years) and me (63 years) have an annual travel policy with AIS Direct Limited that allows trips up to 120 days. It expires on 28 December and they will now only renew it for trips up to 45 days, which is not long enough for us.
I am unable to find anything on the insurance comparison sites.

Dear Sussex
Would suggest you consider long stay single trip insurance for each holiday, rather than an annual multi, which are generally designed for little and often trips.
An Insurance Broker could help, who usually deals with more than 1 insurer, and will have knowledge and expertise to assist you. Will also be a welcome change from faceless callcentres, call routing systems and bashing away on the internet.

Not sure where you live but if you have an RBS branch nearby I would suggest looking at Royalties Gold. Along with the many benifits you get on travel you get free insurance for yourself and partner up to the age of 70. If over this it costs an extra £50 but the policy is good and is ongoing for as long as you are a member The cost of Royalties Gold is £12 per month which is a great deal for anyone over 60 in my view0

With the RBS Royalties Gold account, when over 70, apart from paying the £50 {per account, per year} to cover you under the policy, you have to go through a medical screening over the phone and declare your medical conditions (so make sure you know what medical conditions you have). This is then valid for 12 mths from when you pay the premium. You can call them up from a branch (save you money!) and go through the medical screening before you take out the account (just tell them you're looking to upgrade the account) to see whether or not you'll be covered..
However, with Royalties Gold there's a trip limit of 31 days for each trip you take, but this can be extended into block for 45, 60, 90 and 180 days (max 180days/6mths) with an extra premium with a trip extension which is then valid for a year. The premiums are outlined in the booklet for this.0
