A Celebrity Taste of Italy Competition – Additional T&Cs

1) The prize comprises:
a) Return flights for two to Florence, Italy from a London airport of the prize provider’s choice;
b) Car hire (Fiat 500 or similar) with GPS for eight days, to be picked up and dropped off at Florence airport;
c) Seven (7) nights’ accommodation for two at Villa di Capello;
d) Welcome hamper on arrival at the villa;
e) Wine tasting tour with lunch on one day for two, including return villa transfers;
f) Hands on cookery class for two with Chef Simonetta Demarchi including a meal at Casa Bellavista in Cortona and return villa transfers;
g) Travel insurance for two;
h) £280 to cover car hire insurance which is payable to the local supplier at the time of collection of the car in Florence; and
i) £500 spending money for the prize winner only.
2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations e-mail from Element and at least eight weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken and completed between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019 but cannot be taken over any UK Bank Holidays (30th March 2018to 2nd April 2018; 27th August 2018; 19th April to 22nd April 2019) or over the following dates: 1st June 2018 to 31st August 2018; 19th December 2018 to 4th January 2019. The prize and its components are subject to availability.
4) The car hire is available where the prize winner or the prize winner’s companion must be the driver aged between 25 and 75 and in possession of a full, clean licence held for at least 3 years. Holders of non-EU licences must also produce an international permit valid for at least one year. The lead driver must be in a possession of a valid credit card (not a debit card) with a minimum of €300 available for security deposit to collect the car, which is refundable upon safe return of the car and provided the car is returned to the drop off point with the fuel gauge at the same level as when the car was collected. The car includes unlimited mileage, local taxes and fees. Fuel is not included.
5) Flights may be indirect and the routing will be determined by the prize provider.
6) The prize winner and their companion must hold current and valid passports and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Italy. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for themselves and their travelling companion.
7) Travel insurance terms exclude pre-existing medical conditions and insurance is subject to standard policy excesses and an upper age limit of 69 years.
8) Either the prize winner or their companion must be over the age of 18. Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged18 or over to check into the villa.
9) Please note that the winner will be liable for any damage caused by them or their companions during the stay at Villa di Capello. Either the winner or their companion will need to provide details of a current and valid credit card to the accommodation provider – Oliver’s Travels – prior to taking up the prize. No hold will be put on the credit card but the card will be used to cover the first €2,500 of damages claimed by Oliver’s Travels. In the event of a claim arising the failure of any attempt by Oliver’s Travels to retrieve funds from the card account shall not diminish the liability of the cardholder.
10) The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, additional meals and drinks which are not included in the prize, additional excursions, attractions, treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations where required and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
11) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the villa or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
12) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
13) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
14) A cheque for the £500 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
